CBT in Times of Crisis: New Telehealth Psychotherapy Tool

OhioGuidestone and the Institute of Family & Community Impact continue to innovate in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with our new e-book, CBT For Very Anxious Times, available for sale April 2! CBT For Very Anxious Times is a collection of useful interventions designed for telehealth psychotherapy services.

“It has always been a hallmark of OhioGuidestone to evolve to meet the changing needs of the individuals and communities we serve,” said Dr. Ben Kearney, OhioGuidestone’s Chief Clinical Officer and the Institute’s senior fellow. “It is why our doors are still open and our services remain available, despite the presence of COVID-19. Extending our capabilities to help other providers allows them to do the same.”

This new telehealth manual provides mental health clinicians with psychotherapy interventions specifically designed for these times. It helps overcome the obstacles and challenges present not seeing clients face-to-face because of coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions.

Recently, we also released a free telehealth tool for behavioral health providers.

CBT For Very Anxious Times: Telephone-Based Psychotherapy In The Times of Coronavirus is available for download so healthcare providers can start using it immediately.

The Institute of Family & Community Impact is a initiative of OhioGuidestone, one of Ohio’s largest behavioral health agencies. From research to products to clinical innovations, we provide tools for mental health treatment. For questions or more info, email us at IFCI@ohioguidestone.org.
