About our Community of Learners March Release Our Community of Learners are designed for community members from various fields and practices to gather together to learn how to better serve and equip families with the tools they need to build resiliency in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner. In this Newsletter we explore our Joyful Together and Father’s Feelings Community of Learners sessions- currently funded by the ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County and the Ohio Department of Health. About our Father’s Feelings December Newsletter release Our Father’s Feelings study provides fathers with clinical paternal depression screening, brief coaching and intervention, and warm hand-off referrals to clinical and other social and community outlets to fathers in the perinatal phase. In this Newsletter we explore the Father’s Feelings 2020-2022 Statewide Project- funded by the Ohio Children’s Trust Fund. About our February Maternal Vitality Study Release Our Maternal Vitality Study is a research-based therapy protocol developed with Black women for Black women by the Institute of Family and Community Impact and our supporting partner The George Gund Foundation. The Maternal Vitality Study centers family vitality at the core of the study and invites Black women to contribute strategies to identify and combat not only maternal depression, but also race-related stressors during 15 Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) based therapy sessions.
